AI whiteboard animation generator
Hand-drawn style animation, generated from a sentence.
Whiteboard animation is the style where illustrations are drawn on screen while a voice explains the idea, and it holds attention because the viewer watches the picture appear. AutoScribble generates that style from written input: you describe the subject, approve or edit the narration script, and the drawings, pacing and voice are produced for you. A finished video arrives roughly ten minutes later as an MP4 you can download, share privately or post with a caption.
New accounts: one free 30-second video with 50 welcome credits. Download included. Longer videos use paid credits.
Free to write and rewrite. Credits are only used when you generate.
Why whiteboard animation works
The drawing hand gives the viewer something to follow while the narration does the explaining. Nothing on screen competes with the voice, which is why the style is used so heavily for teaching, onboarding and anything with a concept at its centre.
It also ages well. A sketch has no set, no actors and no seasonal styling, so a video made today still looks current in two years.
From idea to drawn animation
The generator works in four steps, and the first three are free.
- Describe the subject, or paste the script you already have
- Read the proposed narration and change anything that is wrong
- Choose shape, voice, length and whether your logo appears
- Generate, then download or share the finished MP4
What to write in the brief
The clearer the brief, the closer the first version lands. Say who the video is for, what they should understand by the end, and any specific points that must appear.
A weak brief: 'whiteboard video about our software'. A strong brief: 'explain to a warehouse manager how our stock app cuts stock-take from a full day to an hour, and mention the barcode scanning'.
Choosing the shape
Portrait is the default because most explainers are watched on a phone.
Length and cost
Videos are made at 30, 60 or 120 seconds, and the narration is written to fill the time you pick. Credits pay for the render: 100 credits is one minute, so 50 for thirty seconds, 100 for a minute and 200 for two minutes. New accounts get 100 welcome credits.
Roughly 130 to 150 spoken words fill a minute, which is a useful check when you are writing your own script.
Adding your brand
Switch the logo on and it is placed into the animation. Because the style is drawn rather than filmed, brand marks sit naturally in the frame instead of looking pasted on.
For client work, the combination of your logo, the right shape and a voice that suits the audience is usually the difference between a draft and something you can send.

Common questions
- What is whiteboard animation?
- It is a video style where illustrations appear on screen as if being drawn, while narration explains the idea. The drawing keeps attention on the explanation.
- Do I need to be able to draw?
- No. You write or paste the words; the illustration, timing and narration are generated.
- Can I put my logo in the video?
- Yes. Turn the logo option on before generating and it is included in the animation.
- How much does a whiteboard animation cost?
- It is paid in credits: 50 for thirty seconds, 100 for a minute, 200 for two minutes. New accounts start with 100 welcome credits, so the first minute is free.
