Making a script fit the time
Spoken narration runs at roughly 130 to 150 words a minute. Before generating, the script is checked against the length you picked, and if it is short you are offered the choice of adding to it or moving to a shorter video.
How to write for narration
Scripts that read well on paper often sound stiff when spoken. Short sentences, ordinary words and one idea per sentence make the difference.
- Read it aloud before you paste it in
- Cut any sentence you run out of breath on
- Write numbers as they should be said
- Put the point first, the qualification second
Stage directions and formatting
Anything that is not meant to be spoken — scene notes, camera directions, speaker labels — is stripped out before the video is made, so the narration stays clean. If you want something said, write it as a sentence.
Changing your mind after the draft
The script stays editable right up to the moment you generate, and you can ask for a rewrite with an instruction such as 'shorter sentences' or 'less formal'. All of that is free; credits are only spent on rendering.
Choosing a voice
Four voices are available, two female and two male. Pick by audience rather than by preference: a calm voice suits teaching and finance, a brisker one suits social and product videos.
Cost
Rendering costs 100 credits per minute — 50 for thirty seconds, 200 for two minutes — and new accounts start with 100 welcome credits. If the finished video comes out shorter than ordered, the difference is refunded.

- Will my script be narrated exactly as written?
- Yes, apart from anything that is clearly a stage direction rather than speech, which is removed so it is not read out.
- What if my script is too long or too short?
- It is checked against the length you chose before generating, and you can add to it, trim it or pick a different length.
- Can I upload a file?
- Yes, plain text and markdown script files can be uploaded instead of pasting.
- Can I change the voice later?
- Yes, use make changes on the finished video, pick a different voice and order a new version.
