Terms of Use
The plain-English agreement covering your account, your credits and your videos.
These terms govern your use of AutoScribble, the service that turns a written idea into a narrated animated whiteboard explainer video. Videos you create with AutoScribble are yours to use commercially, including adverts, sales, training and client work. Credits are 100 to a finished minute. New accounts receive 100 welcome credits that never expire.
Your account
AutoScribble is operated by AutoThink Ltd, registered in England and Wales. Using AutoScribble means agreeing to these terms. You need an account to create videos. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us at info@autoscribble.com if you think someone else has them. One person or organisation per account. You must be 18 or over, or using the service on behalf of a business.
Credits and payment
Videos are paid for in credits. 100 credits produce one finished minute: 50 credits for 30 seconds, 100 for 60 seconds, 200 for 120 seconds. Credits are bought as one-off packs or included with a monthly plan. UK customers are billed in pounds, customers in the United States and elsewhere in US dollars. Prices shown at checkout include any tax we are required to add.
Welcome credits
New accounts receive 100 welcome credits, enough for one finished minute. They never expire and carry the same rights as credits you have paid for, including full commercial use of the video they produce.
If a video is not right
If a film comes out shorter than the length you ordered, you are billed for the seconds actually delivered and the difference goes back to your balance. If a render fails, the credits are released and never taken. If a finished film is faulty, we rebuild it at our cost. Who owns what
You own the script and the brief you write. The finished video is yours to use commercially: adverts, sales, social posts, training, client work and resale as part of your own services. AutoScribble keeps ownership of the service, the software behind it and its own branding. We only feature your video publicly if you choose to put it in the gallery.
What you may not do
Do not use AutoScribble for anything unlawful, or to produce material that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, deceptive or designed to impersonate a real person or organisation without permission. Do not upload material you have no right to use, including third-party logos and copyrighted text. Do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service. Accounts that break these rules may be suspended.
Suppliers
AutoScribble uses specialist suppliers to render video, produce narration, take payment and deliver email and notifications. They are listed in our privacy policy. Their involvement does not change your agreement with us: your contract is with AutoScribble.
Availability
We work to keep AutoScribble available and to produce every video you order, but the service is provided as it is. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and rendering times vary with demand. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where we can.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect losses.
Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time in Settings. Unused credits are not refunded on closure unless the law requires it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will explain why where we can.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date on this page shows when they last changed, and we tell account holders by email when a change materially affects them.

Common questions
- Can I use AutoScribble videos commercially?
- Yes. Videos you create with AutoScribble are yours to use commercially — adverts, sales, social posts, training and client work — on both the 100 welcome credits and any credits you buy.
- What happens if my video comes out short?
- You are billed for the seconds actually delivered and the difference goes back onto your balance automatically. A film that fails to render costs nothing at all.
- Do credits expire?
- The 100 welcome credits never expire. Credits included with a monthly plan run for that billing period; credits bought as a one-off pack stay on the account.
- Can I resell videos I make for clients?
- Yes. Agencies and freelancers can produce videos for clients and charge for them. You are responsible for having the rights to any logos, names or copy your client asks you to include.
- What law applies?
- The law of England and Wales, with the courts of England and Wales having jurisdiction over any dispute.
