The migration plan
The original element of this page: the whole move, in order, with what survives each step.
- 1. Inventory. List every scribe you would miss. Most people find the real number is five or six, not fifty.
- 2. Export the finished videos. Download each as MP4 at the highest quality your licence allows, while the licence is live. This is the step people skip and regret.
- 3. Rescue the scripts. Copy the voiceover text and on-screen wording out of each project into a plain document. Scripts are the asset; the animation is the delivery.
- 4. Rescue the assets. Save logos, imported images and any custom artwork to your own drive, in their original files where you have them.
- 5. Note the settings you liked. Aspect ratio, pacing, voice character, music choice. These transfer as decisions even though no file carries them.

When staying is the better move
