Old Major was gone, but his dream remained. The animals worked; Jones still ruled.
Then hunger drove them to resist. When Jones struck, they fought back together.
Boxer charged, Snowball surged forward, and Napoleon joined the others. Outnumbered, Jones and his men fled beyond the gate.
The animals stood in astonishment. The fields, the barn, the food—all were theirs.
They cast aside whips, chains and harnesses. They believed the old world was gone.
Snowball painted a new name: Animal Farm. Together, the animals entered their first day without a master.
The farmhouse still stood as they looked across their land. They had won their freedom—but what would they do with it?
