Day 3 of learning video editing: mastering the timeline! This is where your clips, audio and text come together.
Drag clips into the order you want. The vertical playhead marks the moment you’re viewing.
To remove a mistake, split at its beginning and end, then delete that section. Drag clip edges inward to trim.
Put text and overlays on layers above your video. Place music and sound effects on audio tracks below.
Zoom in for precise cuts, especially when matching edits to a beat. Use the audio waveform as a guide.
