Day 2 of Learning CapCut: Smooth Transitions. Day 2 of our CapCut editing series—and today, we’re learning smooth transitions!
First, add two clips to your timeline and trim away any boring parts.
Tap the small white box between the clips. This opens CapCut’s transition menu.
Choose a simple transition like Pull In, Camera, Blur, or Flash. Avoid overly dramatic effects—they can make your video look messy.
Now reduce the transition duration to around 0.3 seconds. Short transitions usually look cleaner and keep viewers interested.
For an even smoother result, match the movement in both clips. For example, if the camera moves to the right in your first clip, begin the next clip with the same movement.
Preview your edit, adjust the timing, and export it in high quality.
That’s it—your video now looks much more professional!
Follow for Day 3, where we’ll learn how to add perfectly timed text and captions.
