When it is worth moving to a plan

Choose a plan from your real monthly video use, not from a large credit number.

Upgrade a video subscription when the monthly plan is cheaper than buying the credits you reliably use, or when its workflow features solve a real need. AutoScribble currently sells one-off credit packs as well as monthly plans. In the UK, the Starter plan is £19 for 300 credits; compare it with your expected finished minutes before subscribing.

Measure a normal month first

List the videos you expect to finish in a typical month and add their lengths. AutoScribble uses 100 credits per finished minute: a 30-second video is 50 credits, a 60-second video is 100 and a 120-second video is 200. Use the amount you actually make, not a best-case publishing calendar.

Three usage profiles and the cheapest sensible option

These examples use current UK list prices checked 25 October 2026. One-off packs and monthly plans are different purchase types; check the current checkout price and plan terms before buying.

Live AutoScribble plan and pack records checked 25 October 2026. UK prices: 100-credit pack £9; Starter £19/300 credits monthly; Pro £49/1,000; Business £99/2,500. Plans recur; packs are one-off purchases.

A four-step decision

Estimate finished minutes for the next month, convert minutes to credits, compare the nearest pack combination with each plan’s price and allowance, then choose the option that matches a repeatable need. Recheck after a month; seasonality or one unusually busy project may make a pack more suitable than a subscription.

What can go wrong

Upgrading because a plan advertises more credits can leave you paying for unused allowance. Using your busiest month as the forecast can overstate ongoing demand. Comparing a monthly plan with a single pack without accounting for recurring billing can make the plan look cheaper than it is; compare like for like over the same period.

Common questions

When should I upgrade to a video subscription?
Upgrade when your reliable monthly use makes a plan better value than the packs you would otherwise buy, or when its included workflow features matter to you. Calculate from finished minutes and revisit after a normal month.
How many video minutes are 300 credits?
AutoScribble’s conversion is 100 credits per finished minute, so 300 credits represent three minutes of finished output.
Is a monthly plan always cheaper than credit packs?
No single option suits every usage pattern. Compare the plan’s monthly price and recurring allowance with the pack credits you expect to consume in that same month.
What does AutoScribble’s Starter plan cost in the UK?
The live plan record checked 25 October 2026 lists Starter at £19 per month for 300 credits. Confirm the current checkout price and renewal terms before subscribing.
